Generations Day Celebrates the Heart of the CJA Community

Generations Day at Calgary Jewish Academy (CJA) was a wonderful reminder of what makes our school community so special. The building was filled with family, stories, laughter, music, memories and countless smiling faces as generations came together to celebrate the connections that make CJA more than just a school.

Grandparents and grandparents-at-heart, parents, alumni, current students and friends joined us for a memorable day that brought together members of our community from across generations. The energy throughout the school was unmistakable, as families reconnected, shared stories and created new memories together.

Generations Day is about more than simply bringing people together under one roof. It is an opportunity to celebrate the lasting relationships, shared experiences and sense of belonging that has shaped CJA throughout the years. It was especially meaningful to see alumni return, grandparents share in their grandchildren’s school experience and students proudly welcome the people who are such an important part of their lives.

At CJA, community is at the heart of everything we do. It is built through relationships, traditions and the connections that continue long after students leave our classrooms. Days like these remind us that being part of CJA means belonging to something bigger than ourselves. Ultimately, Generations Day is a living celebration of L’dor V’dor, connecting our past, celebrating our present, and inspiring the future of our school.
