When you give to the CJA, you’re supporting more than a strong education — you’re helping create the experiences that make it exceptional.

Tuition covers the basics. Your donation brings learning to life.

Gifts to the CJA help fund the programs and opportunities that set us apart: immersive Jewish experiences and traditions, enriched academics, arts and athletics, student wellbeing, security measures and facility improvements that support a safe, welcoming campus, and hands-on learning that prepares students to thrive in a complex, modern world.

Whether you give monthly or make a one-time gift, your support helps students learn through a dual curriculum that brings together the Alberta curriculum, Jewish learning, and a strong sense of community.

You can make your gift go even further by checking whether your employer offers corporate matching or employee giving programs. Many companies match donations from their employees, sometimes doubling or tripling the impact, and some offer the option to give directly through payroll. Ask your HR or community engagement department for details, or contact us — we’re happy to help explore these options with you.

To help us be fiscally responsible and ensure more of your gift goes directly to our students and programs, we encourage donors to give by e-transfer for both regular donations and tribute gifts, allowing the school to avoid credit card processing fees of up to 3.5%.

Looking Ahead: Friends of CJA Trust

The Friends of the Calgary Jewish Academy support the long-term sustainability of the school through a dedicated trust fund. This fund helps strengthen CJA’s financial foundation, supporting core needs and, when required, specific projects that benefit students and families over time.

The Trust is invested and administered by the Jewish Community Foundation of Calgary, ensuring responsible stewardship, strong governance, and long-term care of these gifts. Donations to the Friends of the CJA Trust are gratefully accepted through the Jewish Community Foundation of Calgary.
