CJA’s Nursery and Junior Kindergarten are licensed, affordable daycare programs for ages 3 and 4 in a warm and welcoming Nursery to Grade 9 school community. Families can choose morning-only or full-day options, while children learn through play and build the skills and confidence they need for Kindergarten and beyond.

Nursery – Age 3
Nursery at CJA introduces young children to learning through play, exploration, and social interaction. Our youngest learners are supported in building confidence and independence while developing friendships and realtionships with educators, and increasing comfort with routines.

Junior Kindergarten builds on the foundations established in Nursery and helps prepare children for a successful transition to Kindergarten.

Families with students in our licensed daycare programs benefit from the Alberta Child Care Affordability Grant, reducing Nursery and Junior Kindergarten fees to approximately $15 per day.
Families may also apply independently for the Alberta Child Care Subsidy, which provides additional income-based support. If your family is approved, please share your Approval Notice with us, and we will adjust your fees accordingly.
