Calgary Jewish Academy (CJA) is an independent Nursery to Grade 9 school in Calgary, offering a strong Alberta curriculum within a values-based Jewish learning environment. We are committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and academically rigorous program that supports the whole child.

CJA maintains an active pool of qualified Alberta-certified teachers to support current and anticipated teaching opportunities across divisions. We welcome expressions of interest from dedicated educators who are passionate about student learning and community engagement.

We welcome applications from teachers who:

  • Hold (or are eligible for) Alberta Teaching Certification
  • Demonstrate strong instructional practice aligned with Alberta curriculum
  • Value collaboration, reflection, and professional growth
  • Build positive, respectful relationships with students and families
  • Are interested in contributing to a values-based, community-focused school environment

Opportunities may include:

  • Elementary, Middle School, or Junior High divisions
  • Core subject areas and/or specialist teaching roles
  • Full-time or part-time positions, depending on program needs

Specific assignments will be discussed with selected candidates.
