Grandparent & Pals

"One who engages in grandparenting for 120 years will live a long life." Yiddish saying

A special welcome to all our Bobbes and Zeydas! Grandparents/ Pals are a vital part of our lives and of the CJA community. Whether you're looking for a volunteer opportunity at the CJA, want an excuse to kvell about your fabulous grandchildren, or are just curious about our school, we are thrilled you've reached this page.

We encourage all of our Grandparents/ Pals to attend the numerous events and activities at the school throughout the school year. Help us keep you apprised of what's going on in your grandchild's school so you can plan for and attend them wherever possible. Please complete the CJA Grandparent/Pals Registration Form below, so we can keep in touch.

Grandparent/Pals* Day at the CJA

This event is for N-6 families.

This is a wonderful opportunity to spend a morning at school with your grandchildren and/or special friends. The day is meant to make tangible the Jewish concept of L'Dor V'Dor, or from generation to generation: "From one generation to another, this is important to keep our tradition and heritage alive"

Thanks for coming to our 2016 Grandparent/Pals Day. See a video from the day here.

* Pal(s) is a special friend(s) and may be someone to invite to attend CJA events if for whatever reason your grandparents are unable to join us.
